In our BA Careers Series we will investigate specialized and complementary careers in business analysis, such as Agile Analyst, Business Relationship Management, Change Management, Product Ownership Analyst, Project Management and others.

Agile implementations often overlook the Business Analyst (BA) or casts them purely into the Product Owner role, which unintentionally excludes great parts of the BA value. This session sets the BA clearly into the agile space and explains how we enhance the classic roles.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand and be able to explain the role & responsibilities the BA should hold in an agile environment
• Be able to state the value proposition and benefits of having a BA in agile practices.
• Overcome typical objections to the BA, documentation, and analysis work “not being needed” in agile frameworks.
