Topic: Critical Thinking: Let's do More of It!

To foster decision making, creativity, and innovation, it is essential to be a critical thinker. Critical thinking can help you guide your organization to solve the right problems, address the right business needs, and prevent unwarranted and potentially wasteful projects from getting initiated. A good critical thinker functions as a trusted advisor by asking the tough questions. They strive to be clear, precise and relevant in their communication and seek to think beneath the surface, to be logical and fair. This presentation will provide you with some of the key techniques to help you be a better critical thinker.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session you will be able to…

  • Describe the purpose and benefits of critical thinking.
  • Learn to identify fallacies in your thinking and others.
  • Practice techniques that will help improve your critical thinking.

Note: Susan will be remote during this presentation and it will be broadcast internationally as a webinar. Our attendees in Lexington and Louisville will have opportunity to interact with the speaker during the webinar.
