The Project Management Institute (PMI®) has recently announced a certification in business analysis (PMI-PBASM). The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) has had their Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) in the marketplace for four years. The IIBA® also offers the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) targeted for senior level business analysts.
The Kentucky Bluegrass PMI Chapter and Bluegrass IIBA Chapter will come together to host this Town Hall Meeting to discuss these business analysis certifications; and how each is marketed in the marketplace. We will discuss if the marketplace can support so many certifications for business analysis.
