Having passed the ECBA™ certification exam on his first attempt, Griffin Lamers becomes the latest recipient of the Entry Certificate in Business Analysis in the Bluegrass business analysis community. A lifelong learner dedicated to professional growth and career development, Griffin participated in the Bluegrass IIBA Study Group—and that training culminated in this well-earned achievement.

Griffin Lamers, ECBA
Griffin Lamers is an IT Systems Analyst at Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, based in Appleton, Wisconsin. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. With a strong technical foundation and a genuine passion for the business analysis field, Griffin has been actively growing his expertise in business analysis—a journey that culminated in pursuing the ECBA™ certification.
Griffin’s path to the ECBA™ was shaped by encouragement from his manager and a Senior Business Analyst on his team, as well as a desire to formalize the business analysis work he performs daily. He found the IIBA Study Group to be an invaluable part of his journey—particularly the collaborative nature of the sessions and a teaching style that broke away from traditional lectures. Griffin credits the study group as a significant reason he was able to pass the exam on his first attempt on April 1st, 2026.
Outside of his full-time role, Griffin operates Griffin’s Computer Repair LLC, a small IT services business that keeps him sharp and connected to the ever-evolving technology landscape. He also volunteers his IT skills with Community Benefit Tree, Inc., giving back to the local community he calls home.
Griffin is hopeful that earning the ECBA™ will serve as a strong foundation for a career that continues to grow in the business analysis direction. He looks forward to continuing to grow within the BA community and contributing to its future. His story is a testament to his dedication, the power of a supportive team, and the value of collaborative learning.
