Bluegrass IIBA Volunteer Spotlight: Daliana Zambrano Earns the Innovation & Creativity Award
Our Volunteer Spotlight Series continues with Daliana Zambrano, recipient of the Innovation & Creativity Award. This award recognizes a volunteer who brings fresh ideas and creative thinking to the chapter, and Daliana has done exactly that since she joined the team.
Daliana began volunteering with the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter in 2024 as Director of Certification. In that role, she facilitates the chapter’s Certification Study Group sessions, helping members prepare for their IIBA certification exams.
What sets Daliana apart is the creativity she brings to those sessions. She has developed many new learning tools for the study group, including Kahoot! games that turn exam prep into an interactive, engaging experience. Instead of relying on traditional study methods alone, she has found new ways to help members learn, review, and retain the material.
Daliana’s innovative thinking extends beyond certification. She lends a helping hand on chapter events whenever she’s needed, and she regularly offers new ideas to make those events better for members.
Through creative learning tools, a willingness to pitch in, and a steady stream of ideas for improvement, Daliana has made a meaningful impact in a short time. That is exactly what the Innovation & Creativity Award is meant to honor.
