This is a free online chat session with some of our CPOA certified mentor(s). Whether you just want to learn more about the agile business analyst role, you are interested in obtaining the IIBA®-CPOA Certificate, or you just wish to learn the IIBA Guide to Product Ownership Analysis, this session is for you. Our certified mentors will tell you of their journey to become IIBA Certified, provide tips & tricks related to the IIBA Certification from the application process to re-certification. Our CPOA Mentor: Aaron Whittenberger, CBAP, AAC, CPOA, A-CSPO, Senior Business Analyst  

Aaron Whittenberger has over 35 years of Business and Information Technology experience, including 20 years of business analysis and 15 years as a Consultant. He earned his Certified Business Analyst ProfessionalTM (CBAP®) certification in 2008, his Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO®) in 2018, his IIBA® Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA®-AAC) in 2019, his IIBA Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis (IIBA®-CPOA) in 2021, his ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Product Owner (ICP-APO) in 2022, his Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in April 2024, and his AI for Product Owners Microcredential from Scrum Alliance in May 2025. He is a 2016 Inductee into the Bluegrass Business Analysis Hall of Fame, and the 2023 and 2024 IIBA Volunteer of the Year for the Americas Southeastern Region.  

Aaron lives in Independence, KY and has four sons. Just a few years ago he participated in his first ever game of cricket with his co-workers. For himself, Aaron enjoys a good round of golf, we’ll see if he ever has one.

Aaron has been an instructor for our BABOK, Agile and CPOA Study Groups for several years. He enjoys passing on knowledge to the next generation of organizational leaders.
