Matt Meis, Cyber Fraud Manager, Summit Credit Union
Matt Meis is a Cyber Fraud Manager at Summit Credit Union with over 15 years of experience in the cybersecurity and IT space. He has built banking fraud detection systems, written college level cybersecurity curriculum, and started DomainAlarm to proactively detect phishing sites. In addition, Matt recently published a new book: Survive Online (https://www.learncybersecurity.net/book) which aims to help individuals improve their cybersecurity posture.
Kathi Bellotti, Director of Information Security, U.S. Venture, Inc.
Kathi Bellotti is the Director of Information Security at U.S. Venture, Inc. and is responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and operations of Information Security enterprise wide. In her role, she partners with technology and business leaders to minimize business disruptors and maximize business opportunities by leading a proactive and defensible cyber protection team that balances the need to protect with the needs to run the business.
Professor Michael Patton, Director of Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
Mr. Patton is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the College of Business at UW Oshkosh and is the Director of the UW Oshkosh Cybersecurity Center of Excellence. Prior to becoming a full-time academic, he had over 25 years of private industry experience as an IT leader and consultant. During his career in industry, he has managed the networking and cybersecurity needs for multiple nation-wide companies and was the lead consultant on the VDI project for the Army National Guard’s Arlington Hall Readiness Center in Arlington, VA.
As an educator at UW Oshkosh, Mr. Patton was instrumental in creating the curriculum for the Cybersecurity emphasis within the Information Systems BBA as well as the Cybersecurity Minor and Cybersecurity Certificate for the UW Oshkosh College of Business. In his roles with UW Oshkosh, he has been a presenter at the Wisconsin Governor’s Cybersecurity Summit and a was facilitator for the Michigan National Guard’s Cyber Strike simulation. In addition to cybersecurity courses, Mr. Patton also teaches courses in Network Communications and Design, ERP systems, IT Ethics, and Strategy and Management at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to his role at UW Oshkosh, he is an instructor and has developed courses for the UW Extended Campus BS in Applied Computing, MS in Cybersecurity, and MS in Information Technology Management.
