Director, Certification

Ann Hage, CBAP, CBDA, AAC

Ann Hage is currently a Business Systems Analyst for Bastian Solutions,  A Toyota Advanced Logistics Company.  After having worked in the healthcare sector for over 30 years, the majority of which was focused on the development of laboratory and genetics information systems,  Ann took a leap of faith into the world of global material handling system integration.  Although the two industries could not be further apart, Ann’s love of the BA profession has enabled her to leverage her skills and transition into her new role with confidence.

Ann’s decision to pursue a certification in Business Analysis came after spending a significant amount of time on a large, international LIS replacement project.  While journaling lessons learned, she quickly realized that it was time to sharpen the saw, expand  her BA toolkit and formalize the processes that she had employed over the past 30 years.

Ann  earned the designation of Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP®) certification in 2020 and her Certification in Business Data Analytics (IIBA®-CBDA) in 2023 after having attended the Bluegrass IIBA sponsored study groups for both.  As a member of the IIBA, she enjoys the endless opportunities for continuing education and professional growth that membership affords her.

In her role as the Director of Certification, she enjoys engaging with the community to highlight the value of certification, facilitating certification study groups and sharing her love for the BA profession.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, home improvement projects and spending time with family and friends.
