Tracey Jackson has joined the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter leadership team as Vice President of Professional Development. She will lead the development of the educational and professional development program for the Chapter.
Tracey Jackson has established herself as a distinguished Senior IT Business Analyst and a strategic leader in the field of business technology integration. She has demonstrated exceptional expertise in leading critical projects for over 25 years. This includes Senior IT Business Analyst, IT Project Manager, Program Manager, and Business Owner.
As a lifelong learner and a mentor, Tracey holds a Master of Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Project Management Certificate. Her academic background and continuous professional development have kept her at the forefront of technological advancements and best practices in the business analysis area.
Beyond her technical and leadership roles, Tracey is deeply committed to professional development and community service. She leads the Professional Development Women at Work group at her current employment, fostering an environment of growth and empowerment for women in the workplace. Additionally, she is the founder and president of the Patrick Jackson Memorial Foundation, demonstrating her dedication to impactful community engagement.
Tracey says, as Vice President of Professional Development for the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter, my goal is to enrich and expand the resources and opportunities available to our BA community. To achieve this, I will focus on several key initiatives:
- Enhancing Learning Opportunities: Support the current portfolio while building future offerings through workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
- Certification and Skill Development: Continue my own certification journey while helping members achieve theirs through study groups, mentorship programs, and guidance on credentialing to boost career marketability.
- Networking and Community Building: Foster connections that open doors for professional growth and career advancement.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback to understand and address the evolving needs of our BA community.
- Promoting Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends through publications, newsletters, and forums, and share insights, success stories, and best practices to educate and inspire.
By focusing on these areas, I aim to make a meaningful contribution to the growth and development of the BA community within the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter.
