Over the past few months the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter Leadership has been working with IIBA Chapter Support staff to migrate to a new chapter website platform provided by IIBA. We are pleased to inform our members and community that we have completed our migration to the new platform and are now live! Check it out!
The New Website is Live!
Over the past few months the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter Leadership has been working with IIBA Chapter Support staff to migrate to a new chapter website platform provided by IIBA. We are pleased to inform our members and community that we have completed our migration to the new platform and are now live!
This includes changing our domain, https://bluegrass.iiba.org, to the new website.
The main reason driving this change is cost savings, we no longer have to pay for our own website service; however, the chapter will receive some feature enhancements as well.
- Single Sign-on. Our chapter website is now on the platform provided to all IIBA chapters by IIBA, this affords our members single sign-on functionality. You now use your IIBA.org login credentials to sign into the Bluegrass chapter website.
- Modern Design. The new website boasts a modern and intuitive design that enhances your overall visitor and member experience.
- Broader audience for chapter newsletter. More people will receive our newsletter, The Bluegrass IIBA Monthly Digest, and other chapter communications. For many years we have been trimming our contact list defined on our Wild Apricot account so that we don't have to pay Wild Apricot a lot more money each month for the service. Moving to MemberNova removes that limit on our contact list.
- Slimmer footprint. We will reduce the number of pages on our website. The pages that we intend to remove are the infrequently visited pages, so they should not be missed; leaving the most used and desired content.
- Improved Navigation. We’ve restructured the website layout to provide clear pathways, making it simple for you to access the resources and information you need.
- Enhanced Functionality. Event registration and attending events is now easier than ever. You can access your registered events right from your member dashboard.
- Mobile Responsiveness. We understand the importance of accessibility. The redesigned website is fully responsive on mobile devices, allowing you to stay connected on the go.
- Localization. Your chapter website is now in the local language and can accept payment in the local currency for paid events.
- Members-only Content. We will continue to have a Members-only section of our website.
