Congratulations to our New Student Member!
On February 28, 2025, Tacy Croney joined the IIBA® as a new student member of the Bluegrass Chapter. She is a junior attending the Gordon Ford College of Business at Western Kentucky University (WKU) in Bowling Green, KY, majoring in Business Data Analytics with a minor in Computer Information Systems. During her time at WKU, she has developed a strong foundation in data visualization, manipulation, and modeling through class projects and assignments. These experiences have equipped her with technical skills and an analytical mindset. She is passionate about people, education, and operational efficiency and looks forward to utilizing her talents to contribute to organizational growth. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in Business Analysis.
With an anticipated graduation date of December 2025, she is excited to fully utilize the IIBA’s resources, networking opportunities, and career development tools. Right away, Tacy recognized the IIBA's value to its members. She looks forward to studying for the ECBA and CBDA certifications, hoping to gain professional recognition once she graduates from Western Kentucky University.
Outside of school, Tacy enjoys various activities, including gardening, walking, cooking, reading, and tutoring her nieces and nephews in math. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she loves the outdoors and regularly goes fishing with her husband.
