Bluegrass IIBA Chapter Board of Directors elections are coming soon. Elections will open on April 1st, and that is no April Fools joke. We invite all Bluegrass IIBA members to cast their ballot for the three positions being elected this year. Please open this story to see who is running for these positions. Your vote is important in this democratic process and gives you a voice in the future direction of the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter.

Bluegrass IIBA Chapter holds elections for its Board of Directors every year, electing about half of the Board each year for two year terms. This creates stagnated terms providing new ideas to the Board as well as continuity and mentoring to new Board Members.

This year three positions are up for elections. The Board of Directors present a slate of candidates that you see above. Each candidate is the incumbent that currently holds the office they are running for. So these are the leaders that have gotten the Chapter to where it is today. You can read more about these candidates in the Meet the Candidates.

Elections will open on April 1st and remain open for four weeks. We would like to get the 104 votes needed to make the elections official by receiving votes from half of our Membership within the first first week of elections. Only Bluegrass IIBA Chapter members may vote in the elections. You can see how important your vote is in this democratic process. This gives you a voice in the future direction of the Chapter. Please cast your vote early!

If you are interested in helping with the leadership of the chapter, you can see the volunteer opportunities available on out Volunteer page. If you have other ideas about helping out, please contact a Board member or email Nominations@bluegrass.iiba.org to discuss your ideas and volunteer.
