New Chapter Leadership Role Added to Team

Do you want to learn leadership skills? Are you interested in being an integral member of a leadership team? Do you wish to learn how decisions are made in an organization led by a Board of Directors?  Bluegrass IIBA Chapter has identified a need within their chapter leadership team and seeks to fill this new role. As Director of Community Events you will work with the Vice President of Community Outreach and Engagement and members of our community to schedule and coordinate events in the Community program area. This will be a key position to drive the success of the chapter's community engagement.

The Community program area provides events like Social Event to 'Build Our Community', BAs on the Street podcast, and BA Book Nook. The Director of Community of events will find speakers for these events with input from the Vice President and other chapter leadership team members, then handle coordination of the speaker to participate in the event. This includes ensuring the chapter has all information needed from the speaker and answer any questions from that speaker.

Bluegrass now seeks to fill this role within their leadership team. If you have an event planning or program management background or interest, then Bluegrass IIBA Chapter is looking for you. If you are interested in filling this position or would like to learn more about it please contact Stephanie Hawkins, Vice President of Community Outreach and Engagement or Aaron Whittenberger, Vice President of Administration and Finance.
