July 5, 2024 - Lexington, Kentucky, Today Bluegrass IIBA Chapter and Why Change Consulting announce their partnership to offer new types of training for the Bluegrass business analysis community. Yulia Kosarenko is the Founder and Principal Consultant as well as Trainer for Why Change Consulting and has agreed to terms with Bluegrass IIBA Chapter to provide training and mentoring services to the Bluegrass business analysis community.
Yulia began her BA Mindset Mentorship Circles last year based on her book Business Analyst: A profession and a mindset. This brings a different type of training that Bluegrass IIBA Chapter has not offered before. There is one circle for new and intermediate business analysis professionals, and one for experienced BAs. You can find these and other offerings from Why Change Academy and Consulting on Bluegrass IIBA Chapter's professional development events page. These Mentorship Circles are weekly meetups with Yulia for one hour on a business analysis topic. The great advantage of these circles is not only the training, but it is a discussion with Yulia and the other participants. She has her fall (September-November) topics schedule available on the Mentorship Circle events. These are a subscription service, so be part of the circle for the month's you wish and pause your subscription for the months you don't wish to attend or are out of town.
Yulia commented on the new partnership, saying "I've had the privilege to collaborate with the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter over the years on webinars, BAs on the Street chats and business analysis conferences. Your active chapter members and the professionalism of the events and training you organize are the results of your dedication to business analysis and your community." Bill Powers, President of Bluegrass IIBA Chapter, noted "I'm proud that the Bluegrass has the opportunity to partner with top tier educators like Yulia Kosarenko. She has presented to our community in the past and each time I was left craving more knowledge!"
Bluegrass IIBA Chapter will also be offering workshops from Why Change Academy. You can expect workshop training on Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Business Analysis Career over the coming year. These will also appear of the professional development events page when scheduled. Aaron Whittenberger, Vice President of Administration and Finance for the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter said, "These types of training are exactly the type of training that our community told us they wanted." He continued, "They said they wanted less than half-day training, the mentorship circles are one-hour weekly meetups; and the workshops we are discussing with Yulia will be less than half-day." Aaron was referring to the results from a training interest survey that the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter sent out last month to query the community on topics, format and timing of training they wanted. Yulia added "I'm looking forward to working with your community even more closely providing training and mentorship opportunities. The world needs more excellent business analysts."
Yulia informed us that she has a new book coming out. You can check out Yulia's current book:
