July 15, 2024 - Lexington, Kentucky, Today Bluegrass IIBA proudly announces a partnership with Astrevo Labs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Aaron Whittenberger of Bluegrass IIBA Chapter said, "Astrevo will give us the opportunity to offer a different format of two to three hour workshop type training, as well as training on different topics than we have had in the past." Bluegrass recently surveyed the community on what type of training they wanted. Predominantly, the community said they wanted training that is less than half day in the classroom (even if it is virtual). You can see the results of that survey in the story Insights from the Training Interest Survey.
Bruce Gay, PMP, CSM, Founder, Consultant and Trainer at Astrevo Labs says of this partnership, "We at Astrevo Labs are thrilled to partner with Bluegrass IIBA Chapter to deliver top-notch training programs to their community. Our collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering professional development by equipping IIBA Members with essential skills in systems thinking, design thinking and agile fundamentals." Bruce continues, "We aim to empower BA professionals with the tools and insights necessary to navigate and succeed in today's dynamic business landscape."
Bill Powers, President of Bluegrass IIBA Chapter added, "Partnering with world class educators like Bruce Gay will allow Bluegrass IIBA Chapter to deliver on our mission of providing excellence in business analysis education." He added, "Bruce presented at our famous Bluegrass Business Analysis Conference (BBAC), introducing us to design thinking methods."
This partnership shows the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter Board of Director's dedication to its Vision, Mission and providing what the community wants. Aaron noted that Bluegrass will likely offer two workshops from Astrevo in the second half of 2024, with some more workshops on different topics in 2025.
