Business Analysis is Everywhere! Business Analysis is a crucial role in the success of business no matter which development approach they may employ; waterfall, agile or something else. Organizations that effectively utilize business analysis in all their operations gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Effective business analysis has far-reaching impact. It has a direct relationship to the success of initiatives undertaken by the organization. As a business analysis practitioner, YOU deliver that impact to your organization or clients. Now we want you to tell us the impact you have had as a business analyst!
In our Analysis Everywhere campaign we want to see all the impact that business analysts within our community have had. You do not to be in Kentucky to be part of the Bluegrass business analysis community. If you feel connected to the Bluegrass IIBA Chapter then you are part of our community. We extend this invitation to tell your story to the global business analysis community.
So, tell us your story!
We’re looking for stories of the impact that your business analysis services have had for your organization, clients or yourself. Did you contribute to the success of a product, project or initiative for your organization? Did you learn or try a new business analysis technique for the first time, what was the result? Has your collaboration with others within your organization had success or delivered a great impact? Did you use your analysis skills in your personal life…tell us your story!
You may write your story and send it with a headshot photo of yourself to AnalysisEverywhere@bluegrass.iiba.org, we’ll post it to our Chapter News page and promote it as part of our stories in this campaign. You may record a video telling your story and send it to us. You may record on your mobile phone or you can sign up for a free Zoom account at https://www.zoom.us/ and use your computer webcam and microphone to record your story. If your video file is too large to send, drop it in Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or put it on YouTube and send us a link to it. You may promote your story on social media with the #AnalysisEverywhere hashtag and tag bot @IIBA and @IIBABluegrass on your story.
We have some graphics (download here) that you may use if you record your story. Pick one and display it in front of you or use it as a background as you record. Please keep each story to one situation, scenario or thing that happened; but feel free to submit a few stories. Stories should be no longer than one page written or five minutes recorded.
