Every great business analysis career has a turning point — usually a conversation with someone who's already been where you're trying to go. The Bluegrass IIBA Chapter is launching a new Mentoring Program to make that conversation possible for our entire business analysis community, whether you're an IIBA member or not, whether you live in Kentucky or not. If you are looking to advance your career, this program is for you. Join Program Coordinator Cathy Krist as she introduces the program and shows you exactly how it works: how mentees get matched with experienced BA professionals for career advice, skills building, career transitions, and IIBA certification guidance — and how mentors can give back to the profession that shaped their own careers. Whether you're looking to grow, or ready to help someone else grow, this is where it starts. Come hear the vision, meet the team behind it, and sign up on the spot as a mentee or a mentor. Presented by: Cathy Krist, CBAP (Retired) | Wednesday, September 9, 2026; 6:00 PM EDT | Virtual presentation | | Hosted by Bluegrass IIBA Chapter

Bring your questions. Bring a colleague. Bring your career goals.

Presented by: Cathy Krist, CBAP (Retired)

Cathy Krist has broad experience that began by working in data centers.  Her work as a developer began at a time when developers performed all roles of software development: analysis, design, development, testing, QA, implementation and ongoing support.  As roles became more specialized, she leaned towards the business analysis space earning her CBAP in 2012 while working at The Kroger Company.  After retiring from Kroger, she continued her BA career at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies from which she retired in 2024.   During her career Cathy served many years in multiple roles on the board of the Cincinnati IIBA Chapter.

She now takes the role as the Program Coordinator for the Bluegrass IIBA Mentoring Program where she would like to provide opportunities for BAs to interact with and learn from other professionals.
