Volunteer Opportunities with Bluegrass IIBA Chapter
The Secretary keeps the official records of the Board of Directors including minutes of Board meetings. The Secretary works with the Vice President of Administration and Finance.
Treasurer
The Treasurer keeps the official financial records for the Chapter. The Treasurer reconciles the books monthly and reports the financial condition of the Chapter to the Board of Directors. The Treasurer works with the Vice President of Administration and Finance.
Director of Business Outreach
The Director of Corporate Outreach seeks business organizations in and around Lexington with which our Chapter can build a business relationship. He/she will seek organizations that may be interested in IIBA Corporate Membership. This director works with the Vice President of Community Outreach.
Director of Educational Outreach
The Director of Educational Outreach seeks new educational institutions within the communities we serve with whom we can build a sharing relationship. He/she will seek to help institutions to develop and offer a business analysis curriculum. He/she will also seek to increase interest in the IIBA® academic recognition program. This director works with the Vice President of Community Outreach.
Director of Marketing Strategies
The Director of Marketing Strategies explores new paths to reaching interested professionals, their management and associates to increase membership and attendance at Chapter events. This director works with the Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
Director of Technology
The Director of Technology maintains the Chapter website and technical infrastructure for the Chapter. He/she will continuously seek out new technological advances that can be utilized to support the Chapter. The Director of Technology works with the Vice President of Administration and Finance.
Emerging Professionals Committee
The Emerging Professionals Committee explores opportunities to assist professionals entering the business analyst role with accelerating their career path. This committee is chaired by the Director of Emerging Professionals.
Newsletter Committee
The Newsletter Committee publishes the Chapter newsletter. They organize National, IIBA, Chapter and Local news to provide outstanding information for our community. They seek out new authors of content and maintain archived content records. This committee is chaired by the Newsletter Publisher.
Member Services Committee
The Member Services Committee seeks to establish a welcoming environment to new participants of the chapter, maintains membership and contact records for the Chapter, and handles check-ins at Chapter events. This committee is chaired by the Vice President of Membership.
Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee seeks to create an environment that fosters the professional growth of individuals with a common interest in developing their business analysis proficiencies. They seek out presenters for our monthly meetings that will be of interest to our participants. This committee is chaired by the Vice President of Professional Development.

Sponsorship Committee The Sponsorship Committee seeks to increase corporate sponsorship in the Chapter from interested organizations in the community. This committee is chaired by the Vice President of Sponsorship. |
