Our Special Guest Author: Aaron Whittenberger, Author of Agile Business Analysis: A Guide to Product Thinking and Delivery.

Aaron Whittenberger has over 35 years of Business and Information Technology experience, including 20 years of business analysis and 15 years as a Consultant. He earned his Certified Business Analyst ProfessionalTM (CBAP®) certification in 2008, his Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO®) in 2018, his IIBA® Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA®-AAC) in 2019, his IIBA Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis (IIBA®-CPOA) in 2021, his ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Product Owner (ICP-APO) in 2022, his Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in April 2024, and his AI for Product Owners Microcredential from Scrum Alliance in May 2025. He is a 2016 Inductee into the Bluegrass Business Analysis Hall of Fame, and the 2023 and 2024 IIBA Volunteer of the Year for the Americas Southeastern Region, and listed in Who's Who in America in March 2026.  

Aaron lives in Independence, KY and has four sons. Just a few years ago he participated in his first ever game of cricket with his co-workers. For himself, Aaron enjoys a good round of golf; we’ll see if he ever has one.

Dr. Patricia Carlin has over 20 years of experience in technology leadership and holds certifications in Power BI, Project Management, Six Sigma, and Human Resource Management.   She is currently the PMO Manager at Eaglebrook, an SEC registered investment platform that provides RIAs with direct access to bitcoin and digital assets through one of the largest SMA platforms in the crypto market.  Patricia’s hobbies include reading, cooking, and mentoring college students. With volunteer leadership at Toastmasters as a foundation, she brings enthusiasm and experience to the role of Vice President, Community Outreach and Engagement here in the Bluegrass. In this role, Patricia hopes to broaden and strengthen our pool of engagement partners and continue to manage our suite of successful community engagement events online as well as in person.
