Topic: Agile for the Business Analyst

Traditional system-development methodologies are rapidly being replaced by more iterative or agile approaches. More and more organizations are realizing the benefits of faster product deployment at a lower cost, with less rework due to missed requirements. Effective business analysis is key to developing those requirements and keeping projects on track. Come along as Terrell explores the contributions of good requirements development in an Agile environment and equips business analysts with the critical thinking, analytical skills, and necessary people skills they need to add value to every Agile project.

Presented by: Terrell Smith, Senior Consultant and Instructor at ASPE Training

Terrell Smith is a senior trainer and consultant for ASPE/CPRIME. He comes from both a business and technical background, having worked in corporate and government environments. With over 40 years of work experience in a wide range of project management, business analysis, and agile assignments, he brings concepts to life in a practical, easy to apply manner. Terrell has assisted clients in the development of PM/BA methodologies and best practices, risk assessments, modeling, quality management, agile methods, problem solving, rescuing troubled projects, and team building. He has been consulting and facilitating classes and workshops for over 20 years in both traditional and virtual classrooms.
