  • For current college students. We invite and encourage all college students to attend our events, registration for college students will be $5 at the door. USA students only.
  • You are very welcome to join us at our events. Should you wish to join as a member, you will receive discounts on our events. Topic: Managing Perceptions

A key factor in successful professional interactions is how others perceive you. This session focuses on a variety of strategies to manage those perceptions through self-awareness. Whether you are new to business analysis, do business analysis as part of your job, or a seasoned business analyst these strategies will help you build strong business relationships with your stakeholders. Topics include discussion of the Johari Window model and developing mutual understanding between individuals as well as key factors related to achieving high levels of Emotional Intelligence.

Presented by: Dr. Melissa Campbell, Professor at University of Louisville

Dr. Melissa Campbell has over 30 years of professional speaking, teaching, and training experience in a variety of corporate and higher education settings. Dr. Campbell earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education and Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Northern Kentucky University. Then completed her Doctorate in Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Cincinnati.  

She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Information Systems, Business Informatics, Business Education, Organizational Systems Technologies, Technology Training and Development, and Organizational Leadership.  She is currently developing and teaching online courses in the Computer Information Systems program at the University of Louisville.

Prior to joining the faculty at Louisville, Dr. Campbell served as part of the Human Resources team at Tata Consultancy Services in the role of North America Learning Manager where her focus was on developing and implementing leadership development programs.

Her training approach is uniquely participant-focused with high levels of engagement and interaction to reinforce key concepts in each session.
