CIO Panel Discussion

This event will give participants an opportunity to hear the executive perspective on the business analysis profession.  Corporate executives from prominent companies in the Bluegrass Region will discuss how business analysis is performed in their companies, how Business Analysts are utilized within their organizations and the executive perspective on the value of business analysis to their business.  The panelist will take questions from the audience, so if you have always wanted to ask your CIO how your value to the organization is perceived on the executive level, here is your chance.

CIO Panelists: 

Robbie Perkins, CPM brings more than 20 years of experience in information technology, accounting, and human resources with the last 12 of those years in public service at the KY Personnel Cabinet. As CIO of the Personnel Cabinet, Robbie oversees all information technology in the Personnel Cabinet and is a member of the Commonwealth’s Technology Advisory Council with the other Cabinet CIOs that is chaired by the State CIO and Secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet. Robbie leads a team of 52 IT professionals, including 21 business analysts, who design, support, and maintain the Personnel Cabinet’s 3 Enterprise HR Systems that serve nearly 500,000 end users that include HR professionals, public employees, and applicants seeking job opportunities with the Commonwealth. Robbie is a member of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources and serves on the KY Chapter Board of Directors as President-elect. A native of Madison County, Robbie attended Eastern Kentucky University where he majored in accounting and received his Certified Public Manager (CPM) certification from GSC and now resides in Frankfort.
