Webinar Speaker Series: 21st Century Business Analyst

This webinar series focuses on the transformations we expect to see in the business analysis space over the next five years to help today's business analysis practitioner position their career for that future.

In this series you will hear from thought leaders in the business analysis space about changes they see coming within the next five years that the profession will have to respond to.  Once you register for this event you will receive a link to this pre-recorded webinar.  You will have access to this recording for at least 20 days following this event date.  You do not have to be available at this date and time to take advantage of this professional development opportunity.  If you have any questions about the content or you would like to ask the presenter, there is a link on the webinar viewing page to a feedback survey; enter your questions there and we will get you answers to your questions.

Business Analysis Career Perspectives

The presentation will be a look at the BA career and the changes in the marketplace that are driven by changing technology and by changing practices (examples like Cloud Computing, Agile Development, and Design thinking concepts). It will look at roles and skills of the BA.  It will also serve to chapter leaders in selecting the kind of programs to offer that reflect both current and future skill development needs.

Learning Points:

  1. Examine the marketplace and directions of the Business Analyst career path.
  2. Focus on the core skills and the new skills required in a changing marketplace.
  3. Examine the BA role and how it will be expanding in the future.
