The Bluegrass IIBA Chapter will host a virtual study group to learn the new version (3.0) of The Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide) soon after its publication. This allows the business analysis and other interested professionals to become familiar with the new content of The BABOK® Guide v3.0. Learn the new Business Analysis Core Concept Model (BACCM) and how it affects business analysis work. Learn the new perspectives from which business analysis is performed. There are changes to knowledge areas, tasks, techniques and other content of The BABOK® Guide. Join this virtual study group if you are interested in learning about the future of the business analysis profession.
The study group will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for ten (10) weeks starting on May 27, 2015. Sessions will be held on May 27, June 3, 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. This is a virtual study group, held over an online meeting platform. Attend from your work or home. Study Group material will be handed out once the participant has paid the fee to participate in the study group.

Eric Neill, Director of Certification for Bluegrass IIBA Chapter and Enterprise Architect with Lexmark International with a focus on cloud, back office and related processes. Eric has more than 40 years of BA experience in a variety of roles. Prior to joining Lexmark in 2007, Eric was worldwide director for lean enterprise with Telex Corporation. Eric has served as program manager, consulting practice operations manager, project manager, factory plant manager, and several other roles in engineered manufacturing, firearms and entertainment industries. Eric holds the PMP and CSCP (supply chain) certifications. Eric is also a past president of Kentucky Bluegrass PMI Chapter and is also active with the local chapters of APICS and ASUG. Eric is a strong supporter for professional certification.
